John Alexander and Melvyn Carter of Carter Backer Winter LLP were appointed Joint Liquidators of Albany Management UK Limited on 10 February 2010.

You have been identified by the company's records as a employee of the company at the date of Liquidation. Please find attached an important letter that requires your immediate attention.

to be clear...

if you are were using albany as umbrella and go through their payroll, then you are an 'employee' whether you are contracting or an actual albany staff member.

if you are invoicing albany from your own company and only using them for their "tax solutions", with no payroll., then you have a B2B relationship and are not an 'employee'.

there is a difference. as a B2B you are fall under different legislation to employee, and the rights of each is different.

It also depend on whether the employer is Albany self or another company - which has contracting relation with Albany.
